Just like you, The Locke Insurance Group is proud to call beautiful Jacksonville Beach and the surrounding areas home. Locally owned and operated by Jacksonville natives who love the community in which we serve, we understand the unique insurance needs of our fellow Floridians.
Founder & President
Ryan was born and raised right here in Northeast Florida. After attending Darton State College(now Albany State University) on a soccer scholarship, he made is way back to Florida to start his career. He went to work for the largest captive insurance company in the country and joined their agent program with the goal of opening his own office. During his time there he learned that the corporate insurance world was not what he wanted—Ryan wanted to work for the clients, not the insurance company. In 2015 the Locke Insurance Group was founded with one goal in mind: Providing Grade A Customer Service to Every Client. Being able to write with multiple carriers while having the customer's best interest in mind is how insurance should be. Ryan considers it an honor to be able to serve the community in which he grew up. For Ryan, the start of a policy is just the beginning or a lifelong relationship.
Ryan has a passion for expanding his knowledge to better assist his clients and is currently working on getting his CIC( Certified Insurance Counselor) designation.
Ryan has been married to his wife Kelsey for five years and together have two beautiful daughters, Lilly and Caroline. When not working, he's spending time with his family at the pool, playgrounds and just enjoying family time. Ryan is also known to be at the soccer field on Sunday playing in adult leagues.

Brent is a Jacksonville native and University of Florida graduate. He has a been in the insurance industry for over 5 years and has experience in a number different roles. Straight Out of college he went to work for Construction Underwriters as a marketer. In his time at CUI he specialized working with contractors and helped present renewal packages large clients.
After 2 years he left CUI for an opportunity with a local agency Greene Hazel which was then acquired by HUB International. In just a few years Brent has unique experience working with a small boutique agency, a larger local outfit and a massive national brokerage. This background allows him to understand the markets his competition and where other agents are failing to help their clients.
The insurance industry today is filled with agents who are required to meet large sales deadlines, do not understand their product and therefore push a lowest price driven sales process. This approach is putting business owners and their employees at risk. Working with a smaller agency allows me to take the time to ask the right questions to fully understand my clients and their needs.
In his free time he enjoys sports namely football, basketball and the beach.
